Welcome to the Dundee Virtual Flower & Food Show 2020!
The 32nd Dundee Flower & Food Festival was due to take place from 4-6 September 2020 but unfortunately had to be cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The Festival team felt that in recognition of the enjoyment which the event brings along with the hard work which goes into it each year that the occasion should be marked, so we are excited to bring you our first Virtual Show!
The event, which is usually a popular gathering at Camperdown Country Park, attracting in the region of 18,000 visitors, will take place exclusively online this year. Many of the Festival’s traditional exhibitions will continue, including cut flowers, fruit and veg, wine and beekeeping. In addition, familiar sections such as the committee societies, horticultural nurseries, chefs and community groups will be involved, along with some unique inclusions.
We may not be able to welcome you in person this year but the Festival team look forward to welcoming you online, so please join us to help celebrate and share the enjoyment which horticulture and food bring to so many people!
Get involved by using the #DundeeFandFVirtualShow hashtag, download your virtual ticket and follow us on our social media channels.

We love seeing children get enthusiastic about horticulture and food. There is plenty of fun to be had in the garden or kitchen so why not download our themed colouring book and puzzle book, or try out some activities this weekend?
Our exhibitors put on a superb display each year for visitors to enjoy, putting a lot of time and care into getting their exhibits ready. Many exhibitors showed no sign of stopping this year despite the unusual circumstances and have shared what they’ve been growing with us!
Dundee has a great community spirit and many groups and individuals are doing fantastic work in their local community. We love incorporating this enthusiasm in the show wherever we can so take a look at what some of Dundee’s horticultural groups have been doing recently in these photos and videos.
Did you know that the Festival Organising Committee is made up of volunteers from eleven local and national societies and associations as well as Dundee City Council staff? These volunteers are involved all year, right from the planning stages to Festival weekend itself. Take a look at these top tips from some the Committee Societies.
